INFORICH INC. In addition to the stand-type ChargeSPOT, the first ChargeSPOT in the Kansai area will be installed in the form of a ticket vending machine that utilizes the empty space of a ticket vending machine, aiming to further improve station convenience.

■Background of Installation

Kyoto, a popular destination for many tourists, saw a full recovery in tourism demand in 2023 following the end of national border control measures and the reclassification of COVID-19. As a result, the number of visitors increased steadily from 2021 to 2023. In response, efforts have been made to disperse tourist traffic by utilizing the railway network, including subways. To support this, improving station convenience for users has become essential, leading to the decision to proceed with this installation.
