〜Plans to Gradually Expand the “ChargeSPOT” Vending Machine Model〜

INFORICH INC. (HQ: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director, Group CEO: Hironobu Akiyama, hereinafter referred to as INFORICH), operator of the mobile battery-sharing service “ChargeSPOT®,”Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. (HQ: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Calin Dragan; hereafter referred to as Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan) will collaborate to sequentially install vending machine models equipped with “ChargeSPOT” in vending machines provided by Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan starting from May 2025. 

Moving forward, we aim to enhance the performance of existing spaces by expanding installations, primarily in stations and amusement facilities, in collaboration with Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan.

■ Details on Installation

“ChargeSPOT” is primarily installed at stations and convenience stores, with approximately 50,000 units set up domestically as of the end of March 2025, contributing to the development of charging infrastructure as part of social infrastructure. Currently, INFORICH is promoting a model that integrates “ChargeSPOT” into existing facilities like vending machines and ticket machines, as well as available spaces within these facilities. This allows for the effective utilization of existing prime locations without securing additional installation spaces, providing a more accessible and user-friendly charging environment. By equipping Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan’s vending machines with “ChargeSPOT,” it is expected to further enhance the convenience and comfort of charging environments along daily life pathways.

“ChargeSPOT” is a mobile battery sharing service. Renting a battery is simple: just scan the QR code on the battery stand using the “ChargeSPOT” compatible app. The service is available in all 47 prefectures of Japan and is expanding globally to areas like Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, China, Singapore, and Macau.
