“By utilizing the vacant space of station ticket vending machines, we aim to enhance space efficiency”

INFORICH INC. (HQ: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Hironobu Akiyama, hereinafter referred to as INFORICH), operator of the mobile battery-sharing service “ChargeSPOT®,” began installation of a ticket machine-style “ChargeSPOT” at JR Meguro Station starting Monday, March 17, 2025.
Previously, on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, a stand-type “ChargeSPOT” was introduced on a trial basis at JR Meguro Station. By utilizing available space to install this new ticket machine-style “ChargeSPOT,” we aim to further enhance the convenience of the station.

■ Background of Installation
JR Meguro Station is used by many people, including daily commuters and students. Given the nature of train stations, improving convenience is essential, while also ensuring a comfortable environment without obstructing passenger flow. Efficient use of limited space plays a crucial role in achieving this balance.

By utilizing the vacant space of ticket vending machines, the installation of the ticket machine-style “ChargeSPOT” enables effective space utilization. This is expected to help prevent issues caused by low battery levels within the station and maximize convenience for station users.
