〜Users will be able to send their support in real time from anywhere around the globe. Participants this year will be able to take advantage of the free “Cheer” campaign〜
INFORICH INC. (HQ: Shibuya, Tokyo, President and CEO: Hironobu Akiyama), operator of the Mobile Battery Sharing Service “ChargeSPOT™” is pleased to announce the development of its new platform “CheerSPOT”, which enables fans to directly support artists via the over 44,000 INFORICH-operated “ChargeSPOT” digital signages available in Japan. The service is expected to launch during November.
The launch of this platform will make it easier for individuals to post messages of support on digital signage, which was previously difficult, and is expected to expand the ways in which digital signage can be used as more individuals participate. It will also create a new “support” system in which fans’ support is returned to the artist and then used effectively in their future activities, creating a virtuous cycle. This service is also the world’s first system* in which individuals can post messages of support, including their pen names, for amounts starting from a few hundred yen (*according to INFORICH research).
■ Behind the development of “CheerSPOT”
Our company’s mission is “Bridging Beyond Borders” and we have been aiming to create a borderless society that transcends countries and cultures through “ChargeSPOT.”
Now, we will further strengthen our commitment to this mission by leveraging the power of entertainment to deliver happiness and inspiration to people across borders and generations.
With the completion of development of the SSP system in August 2024, we have begun development of the “CheerSPOT” service, which allows individuals to purchase advertising space on “ChargeSPOT” digital signage and “Cheer” their favorite artists and talents. This is a new way to express messages of support that were previously sent by individuals via social media posts, but can now be expressed by utilizing “ChargeSPOT” digital signage installed around town.
■ About “CheerSPOT”
The newly launched “CheerSPOT” will utilize digital signage to provide advertising space to individuals with rates starting from a few hundred yen, and will be an effort to expand the use of new digital signage. Since the materials are provided by the artist’s agency, there are no copyright issues, so fans can support their artists with peace of mind.
Furthermore, for artists, “CheerSPOT” not only creates an opportunity for them to be seen by not only their fans but also many other people on “ChargeSPOT” signage, but also allows them to effectively use a portion of the support message posting fee purchased by fans for further activities.
Currently, in Japan, we are in discussions with multiple companies about future partnerships, such as LDH JAPAN, which is home to many popular artists, and are looking to expand the service to the seven overseas territories where “ChargeSPOT” is available. We will announce the artists who can be supported after the partnerships are concluded.
Furthermore, we plan to work with Vtubers and anime IP in the future, and will develop collaborations with content-heavy IP that focus on an era in which individuals play a central role on “CheerSPOT”.

■ About “ChargeSPOT” Digital Signage
Regular digital signage is often limited to a certain degree by conditions such as being placed solely within a specific industry, by the business model, and by location. When advertising in multiple business models and industries, it is necessary to advertise through an agency or an advertising network system. On the other hand, ChargeSPOT’s digital signage has certain characteristics that make it easy to advertise to a wide range of stores and facilities in multiple industries without going through an agency or network system.
ChargeSPOT Digital Signage Features:
- Advertising availability in a wide range of industries, business models, and locations is possible
- Deployment at real user touch points in approximately 44,000 locations in Japan and approximately 65,000 locations worldwide
- An environment where a certain amount of foot traffic can be ensured thanks to INFORICH’s unique installation standards that utilize various data
Digital signage, which can be easily accessed via a web app, has been deployed to approximately 65,000 units worldwide, and as this expansion continues, the potential of “ChargeSPOT” digital signage will continue to expand.
By making it easier for individuals to send messages of support in public spaces, which have previously been difficult for individuals to enter, we hope to expand the possibilities of digital signage and realize the goal set out in “INFORICH VISION 2030,” which is “to create a world where excitement is integrated into everyday life and where people feel glad to have it.”
