〜13 units installed from July 22nd〜
INFORICH INC. (HQ: Shibuya, Tokyo, President and CEO: Hironobu Akiyama, here INFORICH), operator of the mobile battery sharing service “ChargeSPOT®” has installed its “ChargeSPOT” units in Narita International Airport Corporation’s (HQ: Narita, Chiba, President & CEO: Akihiko Tamura) Narita International Airport (here, Narita Airport).
The installation at Narita Airport, the gateway to the skies connecting Japan and the rest of the world, will provide a safe and comfortable charging environment for both domestic and international airport users.
■ About the Installation
The number of passengers using Narita Airport in 2023 was approximately 32.7 million. This number is expected to increase in 2024, and was at 133% of 2023 levels for the period up to May, with the number of inbound visitors at an all-time high. The number of airport visitors is expected to continue to increase in the future, and expanding airport infrastructure is seen as an important initiative.
“ChargeSPOT” is not only available in Japan, but also in Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other parts of Asia, and users can rent and return across borders. It is expected to improve user convenience at the airport by allowing visitors to easily secure a charging environment whenever they need it, such as during airport transit or while waiting for their flight to take off or land.
