INFORICH INC., exhibited at the Global Technology Exhibition “LEAP” in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, between March 4th and March 7th 2024.
Saudi Arabia, the largest country in the Arabian Peninsula by land area, has a large proportion of young people, a large working population, and a large number of consumers, and is expected to have high economic growth. In addition, the Internet penetration rate and smartphone penetration rate are both extremely high, making this country one of the countries we are keeping an eye on for future overseas expansion.
■About the Event
“LEAP” is a technology event that attracts more than 215,000 visitors from Saudi Arabia and other parts of the Middle East, including government officials from various countries, regional managers of global companies, and regional conglomerates. Our company was selected by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and exhibited at the JETRO J-Startup Pavilion as one of Japan’s leading startup companies.
At our booth, we welcomed visitors with multiple types of ChargeSPOT® battery stands.
In the Middle East, sharing services such as bikes and scooters are gradually spreading, but mobile battery sharing services are still not common. Many of the people who visited our booth were seeing a battery stand for the first time, and some even asked, “What is this?”
At our booth, we not only introduced our services and demonstrated how to use them, but also gave people who are having trouble charging at the venue an opportunity to actually rent and use batteries from our exhibition battery stand
At a side event jointly sponsored by JETRO and the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Investment, we had the opportunity to give a presentation as a Japanese startup company.
We also participated in a workshop jointly hosted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Saudi Arabia. At this workshop, INFORICH had the opportunity to give a presentation and introduced “ChargeSPOT”. We received many comments from visitors about their expectations regarding future business development in Saudi Arabia.
Many AI-based tech companies participated in this event, and we were able to interact with a variety of companies. We felt this was an opportunity to build good relationships with partners in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, and further accelerate our momentum toward overseas expansion.
Our company will continue to actively build relationships overseas through exhibitions like this, and at the same time proceed with research for future development.
