INFORICH Launches “ChargeSPOT” Operations in Italy

〜Accelerating European Expansion Amid Rising Tourism Demand and Growing Environmental Awareness〜

INFORICH Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Group CEO: Hironobu Akiyama; hereinafter “INFORICH”), which operates the mobile battery sharing service “ChargeSPOT®”, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary INFORICH EUROPE LTD (Headquarters: London, UK; Representative: Daniel Geoffrey Taylor; hereinafter “INFORICH EUROPE”) has officially launched “ChargeSPOT” operations in Italy as of September 8, 2025 (local time).

■ Background of Launching Operations in Italy
Under its mission, “Bridging Beyond Borders — Connecting the World Beyond Boundaries”, INFORICH has been expanding Japan-originated technologies and services to the global market. As part of its strategy to accelerate global expansion, the company established its UK subsidiary, INFORICH EUROPE LTD, in October 2024. Since then, INFORICH has been carefully evaluating potential regions for development across Europe and examining optimal business models for each area, including direct operations, franchising, and joint ventures. As a result, the company has now decided to launch direct operations in Italy.

Italy ranks as the fourth-largest country in Europe by population, with high population density, making it a highly suitable market for sharing-based services driven by human mobility. Furthermore, Italy is the fourth most-visited country in the world1 1and is expected to see a further surge in tourism demand ahead of the 2026 Milan Winter Olympics. As smartphone charging is indispensable for travelers, INFORICH anticipates strong demand for mobile battery sharing services in the Italian market.

Additionally, in 2022, Italy introduced the National Strategy for the Circular Economy (STRATEGIA NAZIONALE PER L’ECONOMIA CIRCOLARE), which actively promotes the adoption of sharing-based services. By using ChargeSPOT, users can reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 42% compared to purchasing and using individual batteries2. This environmental advantage is expected to serve as a significant driver for ChargeSPOT’s future growth in Italy.
