INFORICH Inc. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Group CEO: Hironobu Akiyama), the operator of the mobile battery sharing service “ChargeSPOT™”, is partnering with FamilyMart Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kensuke Hosomi) to expand the installation of “ChargeSPOT” units in FamilyMart stores.Installations will begin in June 2025 and over the next three years, approximately 6,000 additional stores across Japan are expected to introduce battery stands, with a total of around 12,000 locations anticipated.

■ Background of the Installation Expansion
Currently, “ChargeSPOT” has approximately 50,000 units installed across Japan and continues to expand into a wide range of locations such as train stations, commercial facilities, and restaurants.
Installations at FamilyMart stores began in 2019, and as of the end of March 2025, around 6,400 locations have been equipped.
Convenience stores are closely integrated into consumers’ daily routines, making them ideal for providing a convenient solution to the common issue of low smartphone battery.
By adding installations to approximately 6,000 more FamilyMart stores, this initiative aims to better meet user demand and further strengthen the long-term partnership between the two companies.
