Although locations where renting is possible (or where returns can be made if currently rented) are displayed in the app, some people search for rental spots based on their experience of knowing ‘ChargeSPOT is available here.’ Given the time lag before people become aware of the installation, it takes a certain period to understand the rental demand at that location.

After a certain period, we assess whether to remove or relocate the stand based on both the number of rentals and returns. Since rentals do not occur without a place to return the battery, locations with a high number of returns are also considered important spots.
