INFORICH INC. (HQ: Shibuya, Tokyo, President & CEO, Hironobu Akiyama), operator of the mobile battery sharing service “ChargeSPOT®” has begun installation of its Recycle Box “ChargeSPOT” unit at West Japan Railway Daily Service Net Co., Ltd (HQ: Amagasaki, Hyogo, President & CEO: Yutaka Nakanishi) operated locations within stations in Osaka.

By installing these machines at various stations, including Osaka Station, which has the highest number of daily users in the JR West area, it will be possible to make effective use of the limited space within stations while also ensuring convenience for station users.

■ Behind the Installation　
Approximately 28.2 million visitors are expected to attend the “EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai Expo” to be held in Osaka Prefecture in 2025, and it is predicted that use of JR West lines will continue to increase. (*) 

In preparation for the future increase in users, the decision has been made to install “ChargeSPOT” units that make effective use of the upper space of recycling bins to maximize convenience within stations where space is limited. This will also create an environment where tourists visiting Osaka can travel with peace of mind without having to worry about their smartphones running out of charge.

【Installation Details】
Installation Period：Beginning 28th October 2024
※Installation is expected to be completed by 5th November 2024.

Installation Stations: A total of 7 stations, including Osaka Station, Shin-Imamiya Station & Settsu-Tonda Station

Installation Unit: Recycle Box Unit (20 Slot Type)

We will continue to make effective use of space, including recycling boxes, and strive to expand our ChargeSPOT network so that we can provide a stable charging environment.
