〜Installation to be completed in all 18 stations by August 15th〜

INFORICH INC. (HQ: Shibya, Tokyo, President and CEO: Hironobu Akiyama, here INFORICH), operator of the Mobile Battery Sharing Service “ChargeSPOT®” has begun to install its machines at all stations of the Chiba Urban Monorail Co., Ltd (HQ: Chiba, Chiba, President and CEO: Hirokazu Koike) operated Chiba Urban Monorail.

The installation on the Chiba Monorail, which plays an important role as a public transportation system supporting the daily lives of Chiba residents, is not only expected to improve convenience for station users, including residents along the line, but also to play an active role as charging infrastructure in the event of a disaster.

■ About the Installation

As an important urban transportation infrastructure for local residents, the Chiba Monorail is used by an average of approximately 52,000 people per day, and has made a significant contribution to promoting urban development along the line. Due to its community-based nature, it contributes to local activities by opening up part of its station facilities to residents along the line.

The installation of the “ChargeSPOT” not only improves convenience for Chiba Monorail users, but also takes into consideration the use of residents along the line by installing the devices outside the ticket gates, allowing them to be used in emergencies such as disasters and power outages. Installation will begin on July 25, 2024, and as of August 13, installation at 11 stations has been completed. Installation is scheduled to be completed at all 18 stations by Thursday, August 15.

7 stations including Doubutsukoen Station, Sakuragi Station, Chishirodai Station
