ー Could you tell us about your role at INFORICH and what you focus on?
I am currently the head of global operations at Inforich. My role is to ensure the continuous growth of our existing business outside Japan and the expansion into new regions. Each region is in a different stage of business development and faces different challenges. In 2025, we have successfully launched two new markets in Europe and also saw significant growth in existing markets such as Taiwan and Australia. We will continue to expand aggressively in 2026 and bring our great services such as ChargeSPOT to more users around the World.
ー Tell us a bit about the Global Leadership Gathering (GLG) you hosted in Taiwan last month. What did it mean to have teams from around the world come together in your country and have some exciting activities such as hackathon and sharing? And what was the most memorable moment for you?
GLG is a once in a year opportunity for global leaders to meet in person. Since our business currently operates in 3 continents and 9 different regions, it is not always easy to meet everybody face to face. This is a great opportunity for leaders to share their success stories and challenges they are facing amongst each other. Since each region is at a different stage in business development, these experience sharing is very useful to each other. We selected Taiwan to be the host of GLG this year because it is currently our second largest market behind Japan. Taiwan has always done a great job in keeping the operation lean and efficient. Through visiting the operations in Taiwan, other regions can see where they can bring their business to in the next 2~3 years.
The idea of having a hackathon is because we value what our global leaders see in their market: the challenges and opportunities, we believe they all have their unique perspective and through the hackathon we can combine each leader's perspective and come up with new business ideas.
The most memorable moment for me was the pitch for the hackathon. While we are serious about making our pitch deck and preparing for the pitch, we are also having a lot of fun.

ー What are you most excited about in your work right now?
Everyday is very exciting! Like I mentioned before, each region is at a different stage and has different challenges, so I am always waking up to new challenges! One moment could be working on a big deal with a key account partner in one region, next moment would be working with a country manager building a sales incentive program for a new market that we just launched.
ー What challenges have you faced in leading a growing business in Taiwan, and what have you learned from them?
The biggest challenge when we launched in Taiwan was Covid-19. Businesses were shut down and our revenue dropped by over 90% within a month. We had to take many actions in reducing cost, and raise additional funding to sustain the business until recovery. My learning from this is that we should also aim for the best but prepare for the worst.
ー From your perspective, what makes INFORICH unique or special as a global organization? What do you like most about the team?
Inforich is still a young global company. Most of our leaders are still in their 30s and 40s, we are always very energetic and always have a high level of enthusiasm. What I like most about the team is that members around the world are really like friends and family.
ー Can you share a moment when you embodied one of INFORICH’s values in your work?
For my job, it is very important for me to “Be a Learner”. Even though I have launched and grown the business successfully with the team in Taiwan, I am still learning from each of the country managers everyday. Because we are in different regions, people’s culture is very different, the competitive landscape is different, local regulations are also different, it is very difficult to use past success and try to simply copy and paste to new markets. I try my best to learn about each region, listen to the challenges from our country managers, share my past experience and together with the country managers come up with ideas to tackle the challenges together.
